In 2005, I received a Texas massage license and started my career. I have over 575 hours of training in massage therapy and am skilled in a variety of modalities including: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, British Sports Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, and Acupressure. In 2010 I received 21 hours of advanced training in Pregnancy Massage and now work with many women to relieve the discomforts of pregnancy such as, back pain, sciatic pain, round ligament pain, leg cramps, and many other pregnancy related issues. I became certified through DONA as a Birth Doula in 2009. My greatest joy as a doula is watching a woman become excited and confident in her choices during pregnancy that empower her during the birth of her baby. The emotional and physical comfort I offer to a family to have a normal, safe, and satisfying pregnancy and birthing experience is of utmost importance to me. Whether the family decides to have their baby at home, at a birth center, or in the hospital, I offer nurturing, loving care to the family during this joyous time. Since 2006, I have been researching and practicing the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) of natural birth control and pregnancy achievement. By detecting the natural signs of fertility, the FAM is a highly effective and scientifically proven method of birth control without chemicals or devices. It can also maximize your chances of conception and expedite your fertility treatment by quickly identifying impediments to pregnancy achievement. A healthy understanding of your sexual and gynecological health are also observed when following this method. Certifications Licensed Massage Therapist since 2005 Certified Birth Doula through DONA since 2009 Massage for Pregnancy Certification 2010
