Having your first child is filled with excitement, anxiety, and joy.
From the beginning, Amanda was always encouraging, comforting, calm, and nurturing.
She was accommodating and flexible with my work schedule visiting me at home in the evenings at times.
During prenatal visits, she was cautious and diligent in examining the well being of my baby boy and me.
She also offered wisdom and knowledge to the beauty of pregnancy and child birth.
She was able to answer any questions my husband and I had.
The birthing of my son was a long labor but time flew by due to her warmth and calm spirit.
She allowed me to listen to my body not interrupting and thus creating a supportive and quiet birth environment at home.
Near the end of the labor she understood to importance of my strength in delivering and helped me into a variety of positions to progress the labor.
In addition, I knew the entire 24 hours of labor she not only provided physical, mental, and emotional strength but a mutual spiritual strength to our home praying during the difficult times of birth.
Amanda is an extremely professional midwife that works well not only the families but other birthing professionals.
She created a great team environment with my doula and birth assistant.
As a result, my beautiful boy Pierce Willingham entered this world on June 7th at home in a peaceful and loving environment.
